ADITANAR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION (A.E.I)
Sivanthi Academy is an extension service centre of Aditanar Educational Institution founded by Dr. B.SivanthiAdityan in the year 1992 with a view of motivating young aspirants to take up competitive examinations and to enter into the world of employment successfully. It serves the society without any profit motive. It offers counselling/guidance and training classes. It has a library containing adequate and appropriate references for competitive examinations.

FOUNDER OF AEI
SRI.SI.PA.ADITANAR, founder of AEI, was born in Kayamozhi on 27 Sept 1907.
In 1934, as a Barrister, he visited Singapore to practice law.
In 1948 he commenced THE DAILY THANTHI and revolutionized the field of journalism and created a far-reaching impact on society.
Sri.Si.Pa.Aditanar adorned the Tamil Nadu Assembly speaker post in 1967 and later in 1969 assumed charge as a Minister for Co-operation and Agriculture.
He established AEI in 1962, to uplift the rural masses by providing quality higher education in Arts, Science, Physical Education, Teacher Education, Engineering, Management & Paramedical science, etc. which are usually available in urban cities.
FOUNDER CHAIRMAN
Dr. B. SivanthiAdityan is a multifaceted personality with each facet representing the peak of achievement in that field.
Dr. B. SivanthiAdityan made an outstanding contribution in the field of education in the State. He established temples of learning in remote areas. Today, thousands of young students, who studied in these institutions, bear testimony to his commitment and dedication.
For his exemplary service in the field of Literacy and Education. he was awarded with prestigious ‘Padmashri’ award by Government of India.
In recognition of his service in the field of education, Dr.B. SivanthiAdityan was conferred with honorary 5 doctorates by Maduari Kamaraj University, Annamalai University, and Tamilnadu Sports University, Madras University and also by ManomaniamSundaranar University.
He was a sportsman and Sports Administrator par excellence. He had been the President of the Indian Olympic Association for 10 years. He was awarded the Olympic order of Merit for services rendered for the development of sports and education. He was awarded the honour of being the Sheriff of Madras for two consecutive terms. As the director of the Daily Thanthi, he rendered distinguished service to the Tamil Language.

He serves as the Director of Daily Thanthi, Daily Thanthi Private Limited, Educational Trustee Company P Limited, Metronation Chennai Television P Ltd, which owns Thanthi TV, India Cabs Pvt Limited, Gay Travels Pvt Limited, Rani Weekly Pvt Ltd., Subasri Reality Pvt Limited, Sivanthi Farms Pvt Limited, Rukmani Publications P Limited, Indian News paper Society, India Cements Limited. He is the advisor of Malar Publications Pvt Ltd which owns Maalai Malar, Evening Tamil Daily, AMN TV, Hello FM and Rani Printers.
He served as the Executive Director of Maalai Malar in 1990 and was solely responsible for the innovations and new concepts,enhancequality of content, Design, Layout and finally made Maalai Malar as the No.1 Eveninger inIndia.
